About the Insight Exchange

Participants joining this small group, 90-minute, facilitated session can look forward to a chance to hear about recent research into what promotes and what hinders scientific discovery in different institutional settings, to learning more about studies of individual skills related to discovery, and to sharing challenges, questions, and solutions to making progress toward discovery, pooled from their collective experience.

Participants are encouraged to come with a clear scientific discovery goal in mind, whether the idea is funded or not, is being actively pursued or has been neglected for years.  There will be brief presentations and individual, small group, and full group exercises designed to act as spark points for igniting new conversations and new tactics for tackling discovery goals.
